Title: Issues with Direct IP on SFC1

Hello Dynaverse Community!

I am pretty new here, and I was wondering if I could get some help.  My brother and I both have a copy of SFC1, and we were looking to do a few skirmishes with each other, but we can't get a direct connection to establish.  I will host on my system, and then give him my IP address, which he enters, but he can't find a game.

Any recommendations?  Am I doing something wrong or is there a deeper problem regarding our use of newer OSs (I have 7, he has vista)?

Or should I just buy some copies of EAW from the dynaverse store?

I don't think you can do this use a private server but you can use GameRanger just goolge it better than Gamespy.

Turn off any firewalls you have up if you have them. IP/LAN should be no issue, unless you are sharing the same IP.
