How do you install Ubantu Wine to say your Wind 7 or 8 drive or does it have to be partianed?

Did you check on Youtube? All I know is that if its alone, you have to format the HD. A dual booting, well the best place to check if you want to do it alone is checking for it on youtube.

What exactly do you want to install? Ubuntu or Wine?
Ubuntu is a operation system. You can install Ubuntu using "wubi" so you don't need to re-partition your harddrive.

Wine is a application copatibility layer for unix-like OS which lets you install win32 softwares without Windows. You should not install wine to another drive or do any partition work.
