Title: ULA may be up for sale
Post by: Nemesis on March 02, 2023, 12:10:04 pm
So if you have a few billion US$ burning a hole in your pocket and want to buy a rocket company with a questionable future here is your chance.  Or you can wait and if Vulcan fails its first launch the price should drop.

What would you be buying? It sounds like a middle management company that doesn't really have any asset of their own I doubt the rocket construction business is included and if it is they don't have a single reusable system in their pipeline.

ULA is worthless without Boeing and Lockheed's political clout.

Once they run out of Russian engines no more Atlas rockets.  Will Vulcan Centaur actually fly?  If it does can they get enough BE-4 engines to keep up to demand?  Why that heck did they sign up with Blue Origin for engines?

Delta IV Heavy is to be retired in 2024.
