Title: Things you may not know about fighters/PF's in general

Did you know you can set a hotkey to launch all your fighters/PF's at once?

I find this most useful when I am carrying a Plas-D drogue, and suddenly find myself being pounced upon by lots of fighters and/or drones.  I just press my hotkey, and poof!  the Plas-D drogue is popping away; killing fighters AND drawing fire!  (who needs weasels?)

You can set this in front screen of the game, before you log onto the dynaverse.  Choose options and then hotkeys.  I normally choose "F".  I forget what F is usually set to, but it's probably not something I normally use.......

Fair enough.  Reason I asked was that the drogues show as fighters in the screen but based on what I read from HB (who yes, I know is Scip just like I know who DH123 is) they are linked to the shuttle code in some manner (black magic, don't know how that part works) and shuttles have a seperate launch bind key then fighters.

Actually, drogues are based on the PF engine in the game. Hence the reason you can control them directly (target the drogue and hit backspace).

Also, the default hotkey to launch all fighters/PF's is L. But, you will need to reset their orders from 'defend me' to whatever else you want (defend, attack, harass), and that must be done by unit.

There is no default hotkey to launch fighters/PF's, you have to set one. Also, if you click on one of the fighter icons in the shuttle bay panel before hitting the hotkey you set it will switch all the fighters in the bay to that setting.
