Title: Good games?

I installed Orion Pirates and EAW again to see what the Dynverse 2 environment was like.  I have been playing on Dynaverse 3 and decided to revisit some old favorites.  When I went to check on them I log on to gamespy via multiplayer in the game but do not see any servers.
Question?
1.  Where are they/what am I doing wrong?
2.  What are the better ones if anyone has one to recommend.

You probably need to patch up to the current versions of both EAW and OP. If you do not have the most current patches, the servers will not show for you.

All of the patches can be found in various places -- but try this URL for the most current patches for both games. Each game (EAW/OP) has their own download area.

There are several good servers up in the D2, especially in EAW.  OP has Badlands up, with another light campaign being planned in the wings.  Slave Girls 3 is close to completion and is being worked on now by Dizzy.

Another place to check for downloads, including patches for both games is SFC2.net

Sounds like a patch problem.  Do you have the latest patches?  I believe 2036 is the latest EAW patch.

 Most of the action these days is centered on the EAW server Day of the Eagle.  Day of the Eagle is a 2 week campaign that just started.  I think you'll get a kick out of some of the new missions and ships.  Checkout Herr Burt's website for DOE.  You would be more than welcome amougnst the Alliance.
