When I start the game (SFC3) my mouse cursor flickeres in and out. This also causes slow down during the game. When I first got the game I never had this problem. I believe it arose when I upgraded to Directx 9 though I am not sure. I got the DX9 fix, I tried upgrading to the 1.01 patch, and upgrading to DX9a. All have done nothing. I am using Win ME on a 1.8 gighz computers with an NVIDA Gefore 2 Mx.
I check the activision help boards, but nothing helped.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem or knows how to revert to a older version of DX?

^Does SFC3 even run in 800x600?

The GeForce 2 MX runs very well with the certified 30.82 drivers. The newer detonator driver candidates (40.71+) introduced cursor flicker and degraded perceived performance on my GeForce 2 MX 400 64MB PCI card.

I can attest to that. The Newest (non certified) driver 43.45 (dx9.0a) simply refused to display anything when playing SFC2 or 3 in windowed mode (complete Black screen, but with music on. and if you click the right places, the button apparently still works.
I have a TNT2M64 32MB.
Will try some more of this tomorrow (or when I got time))
