There's still a Lyran forum "active" over at the SFC2.Net forums ( http://bozobits.com/forums/ ), lately it's been down to a few posts a month, but I'm sure we can turn that around

1st off, all 'F' variants have been deleted. The only thing the F varaents had that the others didnt were PF's. Now all 'F' variant sisterships have the PF's so that cleans up the shipard big time... Also makes it harder on your enemies, they now have to deal with quite a bit of AI PF's, hehe.
2nd, the Lyrans have 'borrowed' a few D-7 Hulls. Some of them, FD7(K) have replaced the drone racks with ESG. Some other retain their drone racks but have changed from B racks to A racks... suppy issue... So this will make getting into Planetary assaults a tad bit easier...
That said, the Lyrans are pretty much stock. I think you guys get an early DN...
Question... Can someone please give me the skinny on the LDR ships?
Oh, and while the CnC have the Rom and Gorn limited to 8 total PF's per fleet, the Lyran limit is 10. The Lyrans have a DNH varient with 4x PF's.
Here's a pic of a Lyran D-7 hull that is included in the model pack:
Course, its getting shot up by a Tholian... but Lyrans were never good pilots anyway

You and me had a pretty good fight on an asteroid map once. I can't remember which campaign it was, but I'm pretty sure it was the last campaign you were active in.

Have a look at http://www.fourpower.com. There is a brief writeup on the LDR there, up until the time of the Four Powers war, in the minor powers section.
To bring you up to date: Before the end of the Four Powers war, the Hydrans bribed the LDR into true neutrality by selling them gatling phasers. The LDR sat out the General War as a neutral power. When the Andromedans invaded, the LDR found they had no friends left and were completely destroyed.
