Title: SFC2 error messages.

Is anyone here having the same problem?. Evey time I try to play the game, I get "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library runtime error. Abnormal program termination. " Then the game closes down. This started after I aplied the last patch. Maybe I need a new copy of the game? I've had it a couple of years. Thanks for any help.

If this happens regularly, the first thing to try is a completely fresh re-install, with a clean patch from 2002 to 2036.
Also try running a scandisk on your hard drive as well, and make sure you have as few programs as possible running in the background when playing SFC2.

Thanx,I'll give it a try. I have un-installed and re-installed, but did not download a fresh patch. All this started because I was having trouble witht the mission Orion Moon. My system kept locking up on that mission no matter what I did, so I got the last patch. Then all the trouble started. Again, Thanx for the help.
