Title: Grumble. No SFC for me.

So... the OP patch comes out, I download it and install it. I can no longer play the game. It loads, and I can get up to the single player screen to select a skirmish or campaign. I click an option and it crashes back to desktop with no error messages, it just goes poof and disappears.

Blah.  

I can't even play SFC2 anymore, I was playing a bit while waiting for a plane and the program crashed in a mission. It won't even open anymore. Worse yet, I no longer have the CD, I lost it in the fire I suffered in my home 16 months ago.

Double blah.  

Anyone have any suggestions on gettin OP to run?

Anyone have an extra copy of SFC2 they are willing to part with for a reasonable price?

Delete your saved games..

.. ie: delete everything under MetaAssets/db/

OK, saved games deleted... now it appears to work (I started it on my home PC from work via WinVNC to see if it would go beyond the single player menu).
