Why cant I see this image>?

beats me, I've tried it myself a few times now...is the picture hosted on a web page?
From the address, it looks like it...and is that the full complete addy?   I noticed a spot where there were some  ....   in the address.

I think he is saying that he wants it visible on the page here, not as a link  (which does work for me also).

Dizzy, only thing I can think  of is that the address is too long...can you cut it down?

well the one that says stuck... is pretty short.

Ill try a single letter pic.

And yeah, they are hosted on time warners website. I typed in the link that is in the title bar at the top while viewing the pic on the site, but I cant see the pic here, just the addy for it.

And I'm sending u a PM in a minute... so ck it out...

Try converting the file to jpeg first and change the name to a much shorter length.

AH HA! I can see the image. I guess it wont link if there are any other characters than letters...

Ahh... mb it is the .jpg thing...

Ok here is a .jpg file with a long file name...

I cant see why some of us can see a .bmp file and others cannot. The .jpg seems to work. I looked in my profile and didnt see an option for different file types for pics. So I dunno...

Tracey, hows that script comming along?

I think some browser (like IE) might be able to view .bmps natively, while others like Netscape which I am using can only see .gif and .jpeg's.

EDIT: just tried it and IE doesn't work either, wierd, I didn't think any browsers displayed .bmp's, but if any did I would have thought IE would.
