Title: Hey Dave, trouble with a mission...

Tracey drafted me into a planet survey.    Not sure what happened, but there was a sun about 15-20 away from the planet and it was wreaking havoc  ROFLMAO  !!!


Just wanted to let you know...and here are some pics....it really was quite fascinating  










Now that's a planet I am not going anywhere near to scan, as you can tell by our shields....lol.

I had this same problem on Reclamation last night.  I didn't see any sun anywhere on the map but when I got close to the planet my F5D started getting pounded furiously(I knew it couldn't be that G-BDG 70 away from me) I was so shocked I just sat there for a while.  In the end I ALT+F4'd on out of there.

Wierd.

Heh, the presence of the planet and sun close together was intentional.
