Title: I'm CTDing after every mission

LB3, I downloaded the installer from the Flufmeister for people that already been playing the game, and for some reason I am CTDing after EVERY mission... Any ideas or help would be appreciated. If all else fails I will uninstall my game and reinstall and run the latest downloads as if I never played the LB3 before...

Are you hitting the "G" key as you come out of the mission? Thats what I always do... It gives me extra pp... but now i also use it for good luck. Try that mb?

I do not want the extra pp dizzy, lol, I have enuf, but am just curious why a few are having problems, yet others are playing? Fluf will pass me by, lol...

BTW, it has been great on the server, but if the coalition needs balance, then I guess I'll join KothMaverick and switch sides. Server admins lemme know what the numbers are like...

Not sure what might be causing your CTD's.  Might be a corrutped download.  I would do a fresh install, repatch and then do the full download and see if that helps.  Or just delete the update installer and try downloading it again.

Oh and as far as sides go, Matsukasi, Cougar and Chuut all switched to the coalition last night.  Sides have been pretty even all day and when I logged off it was 8 vs 2 with coaltion players leading their usual late night charge!

And what was really astounding, there were 6 Lyrans on at one time!

What the hell is the universe coming too?  

Great fights all night.  Im having a blast!

The CTD may be caused by the shiplist change. Maverick was telling me the same thing was hapenning to him as well. He was flying a CVA, which of course in the new shiplist has been reclassed. If you are flying a ship that has been changed or is no longer in the shiplist, I suggest selling it and perhaps that might resolve the problem.

I've experienced this problem in the past when a custom update has gotten mangled - I'd double-check that your shiplists match in MetaAssets and Assets/specs, and check your strings.txt as well.

I agree with Tracey, I think its the shiplist.  Maverick reported he was CTDing everytiime in his CVA.  The CVA has been reclassed and had its Dizzies split.  I sold mine as soon as I got on as I wanted to play with the new ships.  So any player that gets on and has a CTD in his first mission, I would suggest selling your ship and purchasing another one.  JM sell your CVA.  I know it hurts, but you will have enough prestige to by another one.  CVA went from 24K to 136K.
