That leaves me the bridge, the impulse engines, the sensor dome, and the botanical garden to do. Not much, I hope. Then its off to the Reliant.

-
Very nice work.
-
Wow... this guy is good...
Look forward to the release!

Oh wow!
I assume this is not for SFC3 or is it?

Hello Khaliban
The mesh detailing and texturing are fantastic. Looking forward to the final product and seeing your wip of the
reliant as well.
-
Attention to detail is amazing, can't wait to see the finished model.
-
Very cool. Look at all those CURVES.... (whistles) No wonder Kirk was in love with 'her'. One more day closer to it being completed!

I don't have SFC3 yet, but I don't mind if anyone converts it.

verry good enterprise 1701-A
i got a good enterprise 1701 (not from me) and you can see the botanic on the enterprise when you move the mod with the mod viewer
so the defiant you talk abouth is it the constitution class or defiant class from tng?, good ship but i dont like much tng ship
-
most impressive!
finally, something accurate!
-
Will you please right up something on how you did the engines and bridge, thoes are the two areas I just cant get right, Which is also why I have never done any tmp feds.
But model is looking good all the same.
-
My absatively, posilutely favorite ship. 1701-A was always "THE BEST" Enterprise. I've been waiting a LONG time to fly this one Khaliban.....No rush though.......Keep taking your time with this one. It obviously deserves better than a rush job
BTW. Good to see you around Moonraker. Hope you decide to stay for a while bud.
-
[Whistles, shouts, cheers, starts a mexican wave and throws underwear!]
Wow - this ones a great looker! Will you be making any other TMP ships after the Enterprise and Miranda - cause by the looks of it you have a real nack for em'
-
Suweeet! Khaliban, this's got to be the most detailed Connie-R I've seen. Are you using those photos of the studio-model on Starship Modeler?

About a hundred of them. I sample the pictures to get the colors right.

I just start with a basic shape and do stuff to it until it looks right, like cynlindars for the engines. After a while of this, you start to see those basic shapes in an object. Try to build something really hard. Even if you fail to make it, you'll develop the skills. After the Andromeda, the Enterprise was simple.

Nice work Kal

Bump for news
I had a busy weekend and didn't get much work done. Only the bridge and sensor dome textures remain and those are about half done. But remember, this is the LOD1. At over 9000 polys for this one, you will want me to finish the LOD2 and 3.
-
I was rather hoping you could release a single LOD SFC3 version too, 9000 shouldnt over burden the engine too much (just remember no large fleet engagements with this one
)
