Title: How do I make the AI....???

Heya Folks:

Got a few questions about AI races in conquest mode:
1 How do I make the AI more aggressive in thier conquest/expansion?
2 How do I make the AI build more ships faster?

If you go into the SeverProfiles directory in MetaAssets, one of the gf files (which open up in Notepad) should have the numbers for AI ship production. As for making them more aggressive, I'm not sure how you'd do this.

Edit - 'spose I ought to have asked this - SFC1, SFC2/OP, or SFC3? It may be slightly different for SFC3, I'm not sure.

Thanks James. I have looked through that .gf file and I was slightly confused. I believe there are a few things in the file that you have to edit but I am not sure which sections to edit

Just experiment, experiment, experiment....and back it all up as Originals... please back it up, dont be like me and uninstall/reinstall the game for the tenth time.

Canadian, got to the SFC3.net site here : SFC3.net   and look at the downloads on the right.  You will see  a file called NW's D3 Server Guide.  Nuclear Wessels has put a guide to modifing your gf files for both single player campaigns and for multiplayer servers.  There are some other tools there you might want to check out too.
