Title: Milkshape owners......................
Post by: Qob'nuH on May 22, 2003, 10:07:15 pm
I am considering purchasing this program for simple tasks such as re-scaling, adjusting lightmaps etc. Since this is an over-seas location has anyone purchased it on-line? Is the site secure? Anyone have problems with on-line purchase?
Thanks to all.

Just be very careful about the registration process.  It is complicated and can very easily screw things up.  It is probably better to completely uninstall, clean the registry, and reboot a couple times before re-installing and entering the registration code.

Just so you know ahead of time. When you import models into milkshape. You will lose the hard points. So it can rescale but then you need other software to readd the hp's

Will this work for converting a .COB file, as from Truespace? I have a couple of models I said I would convert to .MOD with 3Dmax 4.2? Will this handle it? I also started a thread on this. Thanks!
