I thought probes had no impact on any weapon hit percentages.
However, I ran into a player last night who swore that it helps.
Anyone have the definitive word on this???
Thx, DM

i have a bridge to sell if that player wishes to buy it.
(i remember the same old rumor in sfc2)

I know in some cases it will decrease your hit percentage... e.g.:
I was flying a cube against a number of Feds who were under the same impression re: probes, firing them off before each volley of quantums. Naturally, I adapted & hit W when I saw the probes on the way, with the warp kicking in just as the quantums got close... the sight of a cube dodging torps was hilarious...
Naturally this doesn't apply to primaries, but be aware you'll be telegraphing your next move to your opponent for ill-defined advantage...
