Hiya Buzz! Was just in your neck of the woods a day or 2 ago. Made a run into Branson. Thought about you while I was there......How's Nanner? drop me a line!
(sorry for the hijack).......ok, not really! :)

Hmmm.........
I think this is a cry for Darkdrone to give his attention to the SFC community. LOL!
This type of Darkdrone created thread was pretty typical of his style of awing the community with multiple ships being released simultaneously.
Darkdrone was also one of the very few modders to bring us Klingon Academy and ST: Armada series ship/base conversions.
Best wishes for his return to the SFC community.

This is the type of OT stuff that the PM buttons are for.

Yeah, definately not 3-year-old threads that arent even started by the guy you are talking to, and especially when there are hundreds of recent posts that you could have poked buzz with.
I was actually looking forward to seeing DD back on here, but you went and got my hopes up.
-1 karma for you.
-
I specificly went to a 3 year old thread in the hopes that it might draw HIM....not you. Sorry I ruffled your feathers. As for PM, yeah well I tried that too. I have been around here for more years then the vast majority of those who view these boards now. I know the courtesies. SOMETIMES you take a shot in the dark in the hopes it will yeild results. Again.....sorry I poked a pin in your dreams.

hey now, sparky, easy. What I would've done is created a thread going "hey, guys, has anyone heard from Buzz" - someone might have his email.
Furthermore, I don't think it much matters how long you've been on a board - rezing an old thread is still not exactly the most tactful thing to do.
Further Furthermore, if length of enrollment is really important to you, note this: I signed up a full month before you and have posted eleven hundred times more than you.
Further Further Furthermore, if you MUST post in a dead horse thread why not go "hey, I know its bad form to bump a thread this old, but has anyone heard from Buzz? I can't seem to get in touch with him" instead of going "hey-hey, buzz, man, whats good?" as if continuing with the old conversation like it was brand new, thus confusing anyone who came into it and went "MY GOD, THERES A NEW YAMOTO OUT?!?" (like i did, lol)
-
hmmmmm.....perhaps we misunderstand each other.....I was going after Buzz, lol. I know his habits and he'll pop up now and then to see if anybody has replied to a post of his.
......Misunderstanding = "I know you think you understand what you thought I had implied when I made my statement, but I'm not sure that you realize the implication of mistaking my intentions and words in the first place>" .....or something like that :)
