The description of PFs in SFB says they're about 35M long.

The scale of PFs in SFC's model.siz file makes a PF from about 17% the size of a CA for the Roms and Gorns to about 30% the size of a CA for the Lyrans. I'm not sure why the Lyran bobcat is so much bigger in SFC. All PFs should be about the same size.

Weren't all PF's attached to the outside of the main ship rather than in internal hangar bays?? wasn't that the point of Mech links, they were retractable arms with tractor beams to guide them in then dock to the arm? so size wise, it shouldn't be too much of a problem (relitively  ::) )

could be wrong

Hi Thu11s
Yes you are correct in SFB PFs are docked to a PF carrier or a ship equiped with Mech Links. They only go into the ship for repairs and even then its limited space.
