Playoffs will begin as soon as the regular season ends. Here’s the bracket that has been voted on by a majority of fleets:

Tiebreakers to determine final standings:
1st tiebreaker: best overall record
2nd tiebreaker: best divisional record
3rd tiebreaker: best head-to-head record
4th tiebreaker: coin toss
Bracket will be updated as final standings are determined.

Below are the possible playoff match parameters. We will need three different sets of match parameters for the three playoff rounds. The matches will be chosen using the same method to determine the regular season. That is, the first digit of the Virginia State lottery Pick-3 game (exact drawing day TBD) will determine the 1st round playoff match and all subsequent matches. For example, if the first digit of the Pick-3 number is 4, then Match #4 below will be the 1st round playoff match parameters. Match #5 will be the quarterfinal match parameter and match #6 will be the Final match parameter.

20% Asteroids (6 games)
20% Planets (6 games)
10% Black Hole (3 games)
Era Distribution:
20% Early (6 games)
40% Mid (9 games)
40% Late (9 games)
20% Advanced (6 games)
I manually arranged some matches so that no duplicate eras appeared in a single match.

The Monday, April 11th daytime drawing of the VA lottery Pick-3 will be used to determine playoff match parameters. Match parameters will be posted Monday evening and teams may begin scheduling matches at that point.

1st round of playoffs was match #9 in the list of possible matches. The next matches follow in sequential order, so match #0 then match #1. I just use the first digit of the lottery number, not the following ones.

But I am confused..... how did Semifinals turn from a 2 into a 0?
(Should be using Game 2 not Game 0 Pick in lottery was a 2?!)

umm corbo, all terms are randomly done and need "not" be changed, if ya look at the past 3 championship games the final games are always up there in the bpv just deal with it bro like the rest of us!!!!

Oh well the whole league end up boring (fleets cant schedule their matches or they dont show, crap playoffs setup .....) .
I beleive the only reason this crap cycle still going on is because we r left around 25-30 players who r addicted to this style of TBPV 3v3 battles . Better crap than nothing i guess

It was in cycle two or three there were a few more fleets to get past in those early days, we played KIG (TSC) for the Alpha championship they won and were then defeated by ISC in the final. Ah the glory days of this ever dwindling community.
