does anyone have the blanks for the excelcior and and excel-b (and B cargo) variants? I've searched my hd, can't find them anywhere so I may have deleted or hidden them away somewhere. If anyone has a copy, let me know.

I have some, although they are a lighter blue than what he used on the excelsior fleet.

Since the textures are exactly the same, you could just cover up the numbers and names by taking a lassoed portion form the blanks and mathcing them up to the texture that you want to use. Very easily done.

I only have them in the normal blue that the Excelsior comes in. The FOAS fleet I never really made them for, I just use the orginal blanks I have and cut and paste the registries to the new ship I am doing then don't save the orginals as I close them. I could make them for you as it takes just a few minutes to do. Only bad part is i will not have time until Saturday to do them.

Yes those are wedges of names. I'll zip up the blanks I have, and post the link where you can get them later tonight. If you want them they'll be there.

you mean make blanks for the FOAS fleet? hat'd be great. I can't wait till saturday np.
Infact I need both as a few are not FOAS bashes.

Thanks dude. Also, what about the ent-B variant...doesn't that have a different saucer? I'd just need FOAS for that one I believe. I don't think I need a blank-B for any mackie bashes.

The saucer is modeled different, but the textures are the same. Unless GAFY has a model of the Enterprise B that I haven't seen, but the one I have is the same texture. Let me know if it fits.

The bottom texture for the B variant is slightly different. The B one uses the same texture with a few previously unused areas mapped for the saucer warp engines/secondary impulse engines.

Nope the top texture is the same one, there is no difference between the Excel and Excel B.

Ok, I found the bottom texture you were talking about, and updated the zip file. The link is the same, but it might take a few hours for the update to take effect. Maybe try it in two or three hours and makes sure the file size is over 5MB. Anything less and it's still the old file.

It's still comming up as 4.89 megs and it's been over 3-4 hrs. Is anyone else getting a different file size?

Ok I fixed it now. The file size is still 4.89, but it has the new texture in it.

thanks guys. I am going to double back up these on 2 zip disks cuz I am sick of loosing the stuff. I dunno if I accedently deleted them this time or if there are here somewhere in this huge mess of folders and I just can't find'em. anyways, if anyone happens to have an FCL (miranda) gafy version handy like the one found on the maas/dublinar, that should be the last one I need except the carrier excel B variant which I think I can copy and paste the cargo door on over the impulse and make myself...I hope. Mackie said he can make one (FCL) but just incase....
edit: Ok, copy and paste worked on the FOAS excelcior-B variant with the extra impulse as cargo doors so that problem is solved. I discovered in subsequent searches of my drive some kitbashes using these really light blue p81 lakota textures with the red impulse reactor domes:

Shown in that rar file. Rouge included the darker colored and FOAS/GAFY versions but I still don't have a blank for the light blue ones. Might as well finish getting them all at once. I need these, the FCL dorsal and ventral with textured phaser titties and ventral connie with phaser titties (as shown on the maas and dublinar bashes from mackie) and I should have all of them. Once I get these 5 bmps I'll zip'em up and make copius backups.

it's a shame too, looks like it'd be nice. Never been found of the ship class but it looks cool now.
