This organization is as much a Klingon House as they are a Pirate cartel.
House Kargoth has been shunned from the Klingon high council but still control some strategic worlds in the empire.
They have used these worlds as bases of operation for their raiding activities.
Kol Kargoth, the founder of the house, plans to take the high council by force as soon as he has the power to do so.
The Cartel is unique in that they are a fusion between a cartel and a military force.
The Crimson Shadow even employs Klingon warships from time to time.
Their arsenal includes disruptors and missiles as primary weapons, but also utilize photons, phasers, hellbores, and fusion beams.
The House of Korgath is a royal Klingon house, and as such, has official business (as well as military responsibilities) with the Empire.
To this end they maintain a SEPERATE fleet of standard Klingon warships, albeit with their own colors.
These vessels would never be used by the Crimson Cartel in their business dealings.
An activity that Kol Kargath strongly denies any association with.

Post by: Centurus on August 24, 2006, 07:23:51 pm: The pack is great. I like the textures, as everyone else here does. I really like the CX too. It does have that really late TMP/early TNG feel to it. Not too sure about the gunboat though. The image is too small to really see. :-D Nice pack.
