It'll be on NBC at 8 central. I used to think the show was ok, back when I was a kid, and I have to admit, I like the Ford.
Figured I'd start a thread on the off chance anyone else watches it.

To like the Ford is heresy, TOS forever! ;)
I'm waiting on it to start, figured I'd give it a watch before hating it. Nah, if they at least try and make it a serious show and not just a weekly advertisement for Ford I'm willing to keep an open mind.

Well...just in the opening...we have hottie threesomes and hottie lesbians with guns...
I'm in... ;D

The goofy banter between the girl and the car during the chase scene through the mountains was a bit lame.
Edit: So the Hoff made an appearance which just begs the question, where is the Two Thousand?

All in all, I kinda liked it. Of course, It's easy to grab my attention, after all, look at the hours I've put in here. :D
Not the best show, but not that bad.

well its not a ford but a Pontiac trans-am :)
and in the movie Knight rider 2000 it was a Pontiac banshee.
if i have my tv and the cable i might be able to watch it.

It's a Cobra. Knight Rider 2000 is apparently apocrypha within this series.
-
they made the Knight 4000 out of a Dodge Stealth,
i always taught that it was a pontiac banshee, so here what it is:
When the producers of Knight Rider 2000 went to General Motors and asked for permission to use the Pontiac Banshee Concept Car for the Knight 4000, GM declined, saying that if the movie turned into the series, they would be once again swamped by requests for the "Knight 4000 Car." So the producers turned to Jay Ohrberg Star Cars Inc. for help. Ohrberg and his staff constructed a car which resembled the Banshee on top of a 1991 Dodge Stealth. More information is available Here.

I meant the car in this new series is a Shelby Cobra.

I was never a really a big Knight Rider fan back in the 80's and actually think Michael Keaton had the coolest wheels ever with the Batmobile from the first Batman movie. Shields, .50 cal machine guns, mines, and it responded to voice command. Next best was Bond's BMW from "The World Is Not Enough", which had similar features. Then there was the car Bond had in Czechoslovakia for "The Living Daylights" with skis, lasers, and missiles. And who can forget the Aston Martin from "Goldfinger"? Kitt comes in a distant fifth on that level of fun.
