Not sure whatcha mean? I thought that ws the only context in which this phenomena was ever observed for the last 60+ years?
Or are you talking about the key to FTL communication?
I'm no physicist - but I keep hearing (in science mags) about how this could never be used for FTL because you would have to have someone verify over the phone which ways they altered their side of the pair to get the full message.
But couldn;t each side just agree on a code set - just like with morse code?
(i.e. Flip... wait wait Flip Flip Flip... wait wait Flip)
Perhaps I am oversimplifying it in my head?
At the very least wouldn't this tech be a potential way to say - set off Eye e Dee's - remotely in a way that couldn't be blocked by jamming?
(not worried about third world slacker's using this tech - but maybe Russ-ens)
Just curious - anyone here have a good grasp on the physics of this?

If perfected, it would lead to a way to transmit data that probably couldn't be jammed (at least not soon). It would also be secure as only a pair would be able to send and receive. No chance for someone to intercept. I am interested but see it will be probably another ten or more years before it would be used (then only at the government/military level because of cost). But it would come down. But then they may not release it to the general public as it would be totally secure data transfer.

it would seem to me that, like the telegraph before it, there would be a universal code like Morse that could make it work without a key. FTL comms coming soon?

Sorry but the friggin Chinese should better focus their science skills on how they can control their rabbit like behavior in their population.
They still can steal us the knowledge later.
