(I was just sitting there, minding my own business sipping my Andorran ale at outpost 217 along the neutral zone, when I first heard the reports coming in, something about the U.S.S. Warrior (NCC-1720) coming under attack in sector 2346 by unknown forces.
It was too sketchy at first, I thought I heard someone say they were sending the the Indianapolis to investigate..but the Warrior, I thought was put into the reserve fleet 20 years ago? there must be some mistake...quickly I pulled out my communicator and contacted my communications officer)

I'll take a look and see if I can recover that for you so we don't have to bother Frey. It has bbcode tags and the works... you can then embed the images within your posts in a number of ways. Play with it, let me know if it does not work for you or if you need a hand to get started (I never really wrote a complete post about it). I have also installed a Float bbcode tag (the green bendy arrows in the post buttons)

Yes, and I get the sense that you would be good at it. I already like your writing style from that one small snippet...
Also, we also have a Wiki (http://www.dynaverse.net/wiki/) for anyone interested to play with it. (though I have not tended to it much lately, and it remains empty and neglected, but if anyone takes an interest and wants to fill it with SFC goodness, then I'll do what I can to facilitate. (regular forum users should already be able to contribute, if you'd like to edit - once there is some content - contact me and I'll add you to the group that can do so. It would be great if someone wanted to steward the wiki, I'm a little busy atm, but it could come in handy.

Let me take a look at the media thing, I thought I had it set so members could add their own galleries... (It has a zillion settings.) I'll check it again and give it a try with my regular member test account. Thanks for checking! Now I know I don't have it set correctly.
edit: permissions corrected. You should be able to access the media gallery albums thingy now. (I can with my regular member test account) Note though, that any new albums will require moderator approval. (at least for regular members... I may remove that for XC members as we already know pretty much how nuts you guys are... ;))
edit2: XC member galleries now set to auto-approve. You should be good to go if you'd like to use that, but you should be good to go with your ftp account too if you just want to stick with that. Nevertheless, I'm glad this came up.
