the newest project for the LHC could be very revealing to those investigating dark matter and the universe.
the problem lies in the theory of supersymmetry. if supersymmetry exists, it could radically simplify our "standard model" of the subatomic world. loyal readers of this forum (all 2 of you ;) ) will know that quantum mechanics and quantum physics are two of my great loves in life, so i am very curious to see what happens. read the article for full (and science-y so don't run away!) details: http://www.nature.com/news/2011/110228/full/471013a.html (http://www.nature.com/news/2011/110228/full/471013a.html)
