first up is an interesting story about a new interstellar project named: "project icarus". i like the fact that they are finally looking at recycling tanks during the mission for other purposes (i have been saying for 20 years they should not discard the external fuel tank on shuttle missions. they should put it in orbit, perhaps at the ISS, and reuse it for pods, metal work or whatever they need instead of letting it burn up in atmosphere). so here is the article and the main icarus webpage. you should check it out.
