would someone care to take over decision making on models.   what should be the main format for the mesh and texture.  i like no cost as the game will be no cost to me.  Thinking about .MOD but cannot find much on it.

gmax is free and there are mod plugin for it. Most 3ds max tutorials can also apply to gmax. Milkshape costs money.

8 years after, you haven't decided on the model format?

Captain  Adam is correct.  I do apologize if I alienated anyone.  I have always endeavored to answer questions I can, I ask when unsure and for community involvement.  This is not meant to be a one man show.  I am pushing or alpha  this March.

The model format is not my area of expertise.  I has been raised before ans valid reason gived to not use 3ds format.  I do not have much on mod format, but I will try.

When I came onboard the goal was CE, this did not start till after, and is volunteer, part time.  I apologize for delays.

I reed the forums.  I will not use anothers work without permission. 

I also signed an NDA for EAW and CE source code and have one now to protect against ADB, whom have contacted me.

I will try to answer specific questions but I am human and do not read minds.
