Those of you who might remember me as Sandman3D, know that whenever I took a break I needed a bit of time to relearn everything. I always came back doing a pre-TOS ship from Starfleet Museum designs by Masao. I've been playing around with Max5 and PS 7 trying to relearn everything, but now I'm having a hard time deciding which Masao ship to model...I know I already modeled quite a few of them. Help me pick one please. Oh, and are poly counts still as important with modern machines?

That is IMHO a very small slice of Trek history. If you want to help attract new players I'd recommend making a cool adversary ship or base from TOS forward and go back to that period later.
I can't wait to see what you come up with.

OK, but the reason I always start with the pre-TOS ships is they are simple to mesh and texture...its been close to 15 years since I did anything for SFC and I have a LOT to remember. I'm a LOOONNNGGG way from where I was when did the Titan...

ok, well the Kestrel is a little bit more complicated than I thought st first glance...but I will make one lol. Here's a look at an original design I've been working on...non-Trek but I think with the right back story could be made to work...
