Welcome to the beta test of ShipEdit supporting Orion Pirates.

This version is also intended to support later versions of SFC2, specifically
patches 2005, 2006, and the impending 2007.

To use the 39902b beta, ShipEdit version 30302 should be currently istalled on
you computer. The new elements of the beta are then copied to your current
ShipEdit folder. The files in the DAT folder are copied likewise. Then just
add a new shortcut from the ShipEdit39902b.exe file and procede.

Be absolutely sure you have backups of all files you intend to edit! As this
is a beta there can still be unexpected results encountered when using some of
the new functions. It "should" work corectly, and our testing has not shown any
problems, but it is possible that things could go wrong. Use at your own risk.

Changes for 3.99.02b

1. Added and updated all UI graphics and checked against those used in the game.
This amounts to 182 different ship UI graphics including shuttles and
fighters, besides the "Not Used" graphic.

2. Separate Hardpoints Info file added. This has been checked thoroughly, but new
changes and patches could require updates. This will no longer need a whole
new build just to add a single ship type or change a set of hardpoints.

3. ADD and X weapons added.

4, Ship "Delete" function added. Now it will be possible to remove that ship you
	just created by mistake.

5. Pirate races added. Simply select the skull and crossbones to access the pirate
races. Click on the "All Race" button to access the original races.
NOTE: The Orion button in the original races accesses the AI "Rogue Pirates"
that are found in all 3 SFC games. The playable pirates are only found on
	page "2".

Things that are still in process:

A. The Info box located in the lower lleft corners of the ship and weapon editing
screens is being updated. It was never quite done in V3.0.

B. We are attempting to make it possible to add in new weapon types manually.
This is to cover any other new weapons that might be added, and to allow some
easy experimentation. At this time we are not sure if it will make it in or not.

C. Currently all weapons and arcs are avaiable even when editing SFC2 shiplists.
NOTE: Using X-tech in SFC2 or the KFX, MLR, or FARA arcs will most likely crash
the game if using versions 2006 or earlier. Currently we are not sure what arcs
and weapons will be available for SFC2 after patch 2007.
