USS-Eclipse Nova class finished pics...
« on: January 29, 2003, 02:59:35 am »
Hear is my Nova upgrade the USS-Eclipse. The Poly is 3000 and ti will coem in a sfc2 and 3 download.
I did not put the name on the ship just the reg, but i will add blank name and reg textures with the donwload.
You will notice some changes in the nova look thats why i call it a nova class upgrade, this ship packs more of a punch!
I am looking for someone to give it harpoints and stuff so the weapons  fire out of the right spots.

Download coming ASAP with ingame shots.

One slight error on an otherwise perfect model. I remember the Eclipse not having the fins on the warp nacelles.Otherwise, the model is perfect.

Looking great SkinMan!

The Nova defiantly had fins, I have a bunch of photos of the Equinox model, there is no doubt about it.

Why do models these days look so damned clean?

Does nobody weather their stuff anymore? Even on Fed ships subtle weathering goes a long ways.

Why does nobody put cheese stains on their ships either? I mean, everybody knows that space dust is really cheese!

Fed ships have almost always been portrayed as clean, top of the line, 'new' looking vessels in the Trek series. The only time any dirt and weathering was added was to make a ship look run down and outdated (like the Hathaway compared to the E-D). But, if you don't like that explanation, just think of them as brand new ships that just got flown off the dealership.

Don't you mean equinox? There was no eclipse (at least not canon). And yes, but that and the future variant had nacelle fins.
