Profnaity as an insult - the last refuge of those completely inept at constructing even slightly witty insults

The Vampire LeStat,

It is possible to stay inside "social-convention",
be sarcastic, "witty", and in fact be brutally rude,
That is a standard "UK social smack",

Frankly, I find the hypocracy in such endeveaours more insulting,
than "just saying it",

So, I just "say it,"
and I do not minse words,

Gentlemen, let me paraphrase Mackie- "Chill!"

I think all the concerned parties are a little out of line and it would behoove all of you to go back to your usual, more civil selves.  And to those who know how to poke a bit more out of the other guy- refrain.

Consider: that's what real trolls do, just try to get a (negative) reaction.  And hey, this is the MODELING forum!

Sorry, but certain people in this thread have L337 D1551N 5K1LLZ - it's a condition that plagues us all as a society

Elite Dissen Skills

It is a forum of chat usually only found in the FPS chat areas.

Antiquated hacker speak originally, back in the day when hackers were glamourised by half-decent Angelina Jolie films (those cat-suits were awesome) they often typed words in L337 (elite) speak where you substitute letters for numbers, eventually some other characters got used aswell like |\/| = M but it then fell out of favour with hackers and only dumb-arse script-kiddies and no-brainer FPS-players who work in EB and think Orion Pirates has something to do with Quake3 when you ask if they have a copy

Mackie often uses it and I do occasionally, if only in an ironic fashion.

Hey, I play the odd FPS myself but I was refering to the sterotypical ones who know the exact layout of every counterstrike level blindfolded with their keyboard layout changed from WASD to ESDF.
