Hi, I havenīt had much free time, but Iīve changed a few things.
Is this the type of phasers you are talking about??? Any suggestions???

I guess Iīll have more textures redone by this Monday.

Thanks,

Mariano

actualy, you could have kept the size and shape of the strips the way they were, just made them black.  The Numerous small phaserbanks gives it the smaller ship feel, you know...manuvering though the different arcs like voayger did on numerous occasions. I'm not sure I really like a single large phaserbank in thise case.

I like that ! It adds some definition to the phaser strip. Add phaser strips and ship registry to the narcelles, color the lifepods, add registry to saucer section. My $.02.This is one cool ship indeed.

great, now cut the length of the nose one in half, and add those little red hash  marks at the end of each phaser.

Also, I've taken the liberty of  marking off where I think more lifepods might look good.  Not sure about the 2 under the reg but hey,  it's just an idea.

Thanks *force   , That was very helpfull. I think Iīll resize just a bit the scapepods and Iīll add them to the hull.
Iīm working on the nacelles too, to make them smoother and adding the markings.
More to come soon...

WOW this ship is really looking great. I think I like the smaller phaser banks better than the one large one.The lifepods look great with the color. I dig the registry as well.Looking forward to your next update sir.

Yes, Zandura is looking much improved since her first incarnation (not that she looked bad the first time around)

Ooh that's nice! Great screenies of a real beauty. I'll be waiting for her. Not to nitpick, but the registry on the bottom is reversed.

It was intentional so you can read the bottom saucer Registry and the markings even if you put the ship up side down. I was thinking in real space no SFC...
Although Iīm not sure which way is the cannon.

Mariano

Edited: It is very easy to change if you donīt like this way. I only have to mirror the layer as I put the top and bottom registry in differents textures.

I think you should do what you think is right for you. But if you are going for a canon look, the registry is always written forward/outward.

Finally, here you have the d/l link...

http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~sfc/files/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=704

I hope you like it.
Now it has 5 primaries and 4 heavies. It is not suppose to have 4 heavies, only 2, but they are rapid firing torpedoes tubes. So to compensate for this Iīve added two more torpedoes.
Iīve also changed the bottom registry.

Thanks to all for your support.

Mariano
