Here's the official teaser site for it and a preview for it.  Amazing how little they revealed in those two pages.

I apologize, i didn't mean anything to suggest they were in the shadow of Bioware.  I was merely trying to point out that some from Bioware had migrated to Obsidian. This is correct, yes?

Not correct, I don't know of a single person working at Obsidian that worked at Bioware. They really are their own thing. Obsidian is a really cool group of guys with some considerable talent but no affiliation with Bioware. I believe great things will come from this group.

Well then. I apologize completely.  I must now procede to beat my sources with a stick.

I'd say that Obsidian is far more "Black Isle II" than "Bioware 2", given they've got Feargus, Chris A., Chris Jones (a really talented programmer who never got the respect he deserved at Interplay) and Darren M from Interplay's old workhorse.

They'll do very well.

Looks like they have some considerable talent on the project.

These guys worked on projects such as Fallout, Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Dark Alliance, and Planescape: Torment.

How much armtwisting would it take to get some exclusive info on the Sith Lords out of you and your hubby?

Don't forget Ed Lacabane of SFC2, OP and SFC3 fame, is also part
of the Obsidian team.  Ed did starship art (both 2d and 3d) for SFC
and also most of the character portraits.  Really a nice guy and
talented individual.

Thanks,

Dave

Oh good.  Maybe we'll be getting a frog-like species that's hellbent on...what's the word?...pacifying the galaxy?

Well, judging by the concept art at the official site, I'd say they're off to a good start.

Yeah I suggested that they model a dark jedi after Scott Bruno,
I'd say the likeness is remarkable!

So Scott was in to wearing ancient Japanese theater costumes at work?  Ha, ha!

I keep wondering if that Sith character might in fact be a she under that mask.  Definately would be an interesting and original twist.

Yes, but there is one BIG question that nobody is answering, will HK-47 be back to kill Bastila? And if so, can we get him more upgrades?

KOTOR was soo addicting, thankfully SWG will hold me over untill the second one is released. I trust they will make it even bigger than the first.

I have read that HK-47 will be back, but I don't know about that meatbag Bastila.

Possibly, especially considering the flash advertisement in that LucasArts link you posted. The robes definitely seem made with female hair in mind. I'm curious about the lady in white as well. Perhaps no one in particular, like the men in the KotOR 1 ads? Women don't have the sheer menance power of men, but a female Sith Lord could be interesting.

I read at the Obsidian forums that a dev accidently let the name of the Jedi woman in white slip and a few people caught it before he could edit it, meaning that she's likely a companion character like Bastila.

Then wouldn't the game have to be called Sith Ladies?

I know i read somewhere that they're keeping the droids you used, just like in the movies. Basically they thought it was kinda funny how the same droids ALWAYS come up, and that they could do it too.
