And now the news ... in Klingon
Wednesday, September 15, 2004 Posted: 8:54 PM EDT (0054 GMT)

Klingons have fans across the globe.

BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) -- German broadcaster Deutsche Welle has added Klingon, spoken by the bumpy-headed aliens of the "Star Trek" television series, to the 30 languages used on its Web site, the network has said.

The pages, at http:/klingon.dw-world.de/english/index.php, were added to celebrate the site's 10th anniversary.

"The dialogue of cultures does not end at the edge of our solar system," Deutsche Welle director Erik Bettermann said in a statement.

Deutsche Welle is a government-funded radio and television network that broadcasts mainly for German expatriates and Germany enthusiasts.

Klingon was invented for use in Star Trek" and has found fans worldwide.

The Deutsche Welle site aims to make brushing up on Klingon "qay'be"' or "no problem."

That's funny, it reminds me of a story I read about a year ago about some Psych hospital needing someone who spoke Klingon to translate to one of their patients.   ;D

I changed thoughts after the comma.  I thought SRaek's post was funny then I went on about what I read a year ago.  And yes I think it is funny (read cool) that they add support for a language that was inspired by a TV show.

Can't you change your google language preferences to Klingon?
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Now we just need to get that kind of support for the Romulan Language the Diane Duane invented.

Here, here!  (Or should that be Hear, hear?)

If they had a Rihannsu language dictionary and/or "Learn to Speak Rihannsu" CDs I'd buy them.
