Advice on hosting......

Hey all..... Well as I have been a little "out of the loop" for a while I though I'd better stick my toe in again... Today I need advice.  Due to a falling out between myself and my ISP I now find myself imminently homeless regarding my site.  Now to be fair I've not updated it since April (how time flies) but as I'm getting back into things now, Chandley Works needs a host.

Can any of you chaps give me advice on where to look for some hosting as I may not end up with any as a result of ISP changing.  Not only has this been a real pain in the ass but I'm now back on dial-up, which sucks as I'm horribly impatient and seem to have missed all the new releases....

Ho hum, so the world turns....

Any help appreciated as usual........

I use these guys:

Pretty well priced (about $6 per month with free setup), I get 500mb disk space, unlimited subdomains and mail accounts as well as 10gb bandwidth per month. Never had any problems with down time and they've always been really informative about updates/upgrades to there servers (which they've just done within the last 2 months), have loads of stuff I dont use ( lol ) like CGI, PHP, host your own forums etc. FTP access is always fine and they have loads of stats and thingies.

Hi Thu11s,

Thanks for reply, I will check them out.  It's bad enough losing your ADSL access but losing the webspace that goes with it too???  I guess thats just careless (on my part maybe)....

Perhaps splitting ISP access and webspace is the way to go......
