Deadmansix's H-CAV taken down by STFU-Chuut's I-CAY

One of the most memorable fights I've ever had.  Was trying to get off map but didn't have the power with him shooting me up through a down #4 so had to turn and fight, luck favored me.

Pardak in a R-CON fried my butt in a Nebula while I was flying a I-CLY

2Tone in I think a F-CC+ showed me what overloaded Photons can do at range 3.( Damn it!!! I had six marines to his one on his ship before that last drone blew up my CLY) :rofl: :gg:

To the Lyran who was flying the L-CF.  He just ran down my CSP and blew me up  GG


It seems that I haven't had a good start to this Server in it's 1st 24 hours :o
So from now on I'm going to take J'inns advice........ RUN!!!!!!!! ;D

The CS+ has a 5/6th movement cost compared to the CC+. The CS+ also has an extra G-rack (with extra accompanying AMD). The phaser-Is on the secondary hull of the CS+ are rearward firing only. Other than that, the two ships are almost exactly the same. The CS+ has a LYA of 11, so by 2275 it is obsolete. I really don't see how this ship should be restricted, however, this is irrelevant since it was not restricted at the start of the server and to restrict it now constitutes a mid-server change. It may have been intended to make it restricted, and if that was the case, then we should have been allowed to build them. Along with all the other things which have been labelled as "we'll do it better next for SG5", so can this be placed in the same basket.

I don't see these ships as uber but I think their is a resemblance to a fast cruiser, the CF as well as the CC+ due to its power curb at speed.  I agree with tracey that they would have been able to have been built if they were restricted.  Having vets forbidden from flying them seems silly.  Why not just assign a CP value for them, so that the vets can fly them if they want, but honestly I'd prefer to leave them in available to all rather than have any midserver changes.

I made a genuine mistake, the CS+ was supposed to be restricted, but I forgot to take it out. Despite that however, I am going to leave it unrestricted for players to use (all players), because I made the mistake and like all the other problems we've had, they'll be fixed for SG4.5 or SG5. Hehe. All I ask is that you not view it strictly as a line ship. Thanks, and have fun with it, it is a fun ship. ;)
