Question for the Hydran skilled players
« on: March 19, 2005, 01:01:41 pm »
Personally in SL-Style match play 1 v 1 2 v 2 Hornets are manageable yet annoying.

However in PBR or SFB based "Realistic" scenarios an all Hornet force seems unrealistic.

We've seem some reform on PPDs, and in the future we might need to takle AMD and its proliferation. (it might be right i just dont know)

What would be an workable rule for handling the number of available hornet fighters if not per ship, per battle group?

Have fought against Hydrans as Gorn several times in PBR, with Gorn probably being the most PD challenged vs fighters and have never felt this was an issue. Infact I prefer it when they waste BPV on fighters.

I concur with Kroma. Given the BPV cost of fighters, what's the issue here?

Without an SFB fighterlist (which I am NOT advocating, since it is not balanced for this game) there is no "realistic" fighter OOB.

Interesting. My understanding is that it was. I'll leave the thread open a few days, but looks like this might be a non-issue.

Onward!

An SFB fighterlist is balanced for SFB, not SFC. The fighter mechanics between the two games are vastly different.
