Topic: Queen + Paul Rodgers concert, Manchester M.E.N. Arena, 4th of May

I was right in front of the podium/runway extending from the stage- I was about 15-20 feet away from Brian, Roger and Paul when they came up the runway, it was fantastic...

There was a special guest there as well, just after the band left the stage for the first time, Peter Kaye and the other guy from Max and Paddy came on the stage! We did the first few bars of "Is This The Way to Amarillo", then Queen came back on stage, and they all performed it! They then did a 4 song encore, starting with Under Pressure, the first time they've performed it on their tour!

They're in London's Hyde Park on the 8th of July, playing to a concert of around 100,000 people. They're then taking a week or two off, and getting ready to tour the USA, for the first time in over 20 years...!

It was a night that will stay with me for the rest of my life. At least, until I go and see them again in Hyde Park on July 8th!!

This was part of Brian's guitar solo. It was dark, apart from a shaft of light on Brian, and a spotlight hitting a massive 2-metre wide glitter ball above the middle of the stadium. When the light hit that, the whole arena was lit up with stars that moved around the whole place- it was absolutely breathtaking.

Plus, I can see myself in there too!

Cool, Queen coming to the U.S. on tour, this will be badarse as so are the ROLLING STONES!
