my computer freezes when i try to play dynaverse 2 can anybody help me?

Game title : there are 2 SFC games that have their own Dynaverse II
Patch version of the game
Internet Connection type
Do you have a router?

Allright first of all how do i check the system specs?
dyrect x is i think the latest version
i have EAW
how do i check the patch version? (if your talking about the cd version it is 1.0 i think)
i have comcast high speed
what is a router?
no firewall

ok, my system doesn't freeze, but all I can get is the firewall message when I try to access the D2.

AMD Athlon 2400+ (2.0 GHz) 512 MB RAM
Windows XP service pack 1
8 I think?
SFC OP
2.5.5.2
dial-up (avg. connection speed 44 kbps)
no router
Firewall? yes, Windows firewall turned off, Zone Alarm on, internet medium, trusted zone off

also, I'm on the scope for hackers since I turned zone alarm off and within 5 minutes I got hacked, so I'm not turning ZA off.
