Saved by Mexican corruption!
« on: November 26, 2005, 03:34:15 pm »
Vicky is driving around a brand new Ford P/U. Seems her boss (They get theri state jobs politically) was given a brand new truck that is state owned to drive around as a POV! She lent it to Vicky! Cool beans, gotta love all the corruption and vice. I'm just waiting for the FDA to approve Vivitrex in Dec., then I'm going to cash in and cash out on a brand new Camry! No being a loan slave for Jack, no sirree!  ;D

K, take it from me, when Leda and I bought the brand new Camry in 03, it was THE best car decision I ever made, and I used to work on hondas and toyotas. Nothing beats a brand new car, extended warranty, and drive it till she dies, contrary to popular opinion, YOU do not need to keep up with the Jones family so long as you are debt free and have a excellent car or truck to drive.

Thanks J.C. for the research bro. I would have gladly flew out there to save a couple of grand. Like Darth Vader's influence, the dark side of the force in Gulf States Toyota distributorship is far reaching. N.M. it is, N.M. it shall be. I have an awesome ex-head waiter friend from Cattle Baron days in El Paso (ex-alkie like me) who manages a Italian restaurant in Ruidoso, N.M., so might be a good reason to swing up there to that resort town and visit after picking up the new car in Dec.

I just wish our Pres had not screwed over buyers of hybrids taxwise, 2k off is a LOT of money for us normal Americans, eh? I wanted so much to wait for 06 and the new hybrid Camry. Oh well, I guess God works in mysterious ways. At least he gave me the means to pay cash, besides my depression era WW2 vet stepdad.  ;)

I know we have our differences sometimes, everyone does, but you took it upon yourself to do some research without my having to ask, THANK YOU!

Eh. Did you know around 75% of the SUV's stolen in San Diego end up south of the boarder. A signifigant percentage also end up in the use of the Mexican Government.

LOL... anytime, I just wish that I could have found one cheaper for you!

Keep us posted and if they are running a sale around here when you get ready to buy I'll let you know. A $250 plane ticket is worth taking $3000 off a new car sticker price. :)

We have had our differences, but that's what makes this counrty keep working. We can have different views, bitch aobut them constantly, but still work togeather when it matters.

And the Saudis are buying more SUV's because they have a vested intrest in oil being used. They have to make up for the fact that we are buying more efficient cars and trucks! ;D

I talked to the finance mgr over the phone, that is NOT an LE but CE.

http://www.toyota.com/camry/index.html?s_van=GM_TN_CAMRY_INDEX

In other words, a standard Camry. I am not going for that, Leda got hers for 17,999 plus we forked over a grand for the extended warranty, just in case. Altogether with taxes and stuff was 21-22k. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, which would be a nice down payment on a house, I want the most car for my money.

I offered to pay a 2k deposit until next month, but they can only hold for 3 days. It's salsa red pearl with a grey interior. I could not have asked for a better opportunity.

Oh well, we shall see what Toyota does in regards to my wants in the financing dept. I got 3 weeks before I have to get some new wheels.

You know what's a beetch J.C.? I was at the bookstore getting a new Veterans business journal, and I saw Consumer Reports car guide. I flip through it, and guess what is getting a new makeover next year? Toyota Camry.  >:( It will not be available until Aug. but still.

GM and Ford, eat your heart out, all Toyota vehicles got above average or much better than avg ratings. THAT is what a automotive manufacturer should strive for.  ;)
