with the exception of the registry and lights i am quite happy that the upperside is now complete, might tone down the panneling a tad too ;)

Ignoring all of the apparently hot issues aside - I think that this model and it's textures are excellent work, I cannot wait to see what other expertly crafted models you produce, regardless of whether they fit everyone else's idea of the Trek Universe or not.

Final adjustment to the tint of the textures i think im finally happy with it!!!

the deflector dish was too large when you show it first, was wondering if you have fix it?

a tos ship well maybe disruptor and phaser 4, it need sothing that kick shields, also it need great power and shields.

well we just have to see what he will do  ;D

Im going to texture the weapons on, im sure weapons on tos ships just look like spheres dont they, in the mirroe universe ent episode when archer blows up the tholian asteroid base with the defiant, the rear weapon came out of the sphere above the shuttle bay on the end of the aft hull..  so i will probably go with that i think.

To my knowledge, which I'm not saying I'm an expert, TOS Fed weapons are behind panels. Gene didn't want to make the military part of the design to be prominent. The Defiant was a pure war design though. No point in concealing it's weapons. By TMP though the weapons were in full display anyhow.
The "sphere" where the rear firing weapons came from on Enterprise I think was the shuttle homing beacon, wasn't it? I didn't see it, but i read that.

Pulse phasers, are a function of 1st generation X-phasers in SFB (which SFC is based on). That function wasn't coded into SFC though. Instead they went with the overload function, which was dropped in SFB. Go figure. ::) I'd go with x-tech myself though. X-phasers, heavy photons, and if you'd like to have pulse phasers you can go with a couple of phaser Gs, possibly. Pretty nice model overall though. Good to have you here, man. More TOS please.

well eaw have no X-phaser, A-phaser, B-phaser or Heavy torpedo, only op have them,

well still you can make it a great model in eaw and op  ;D

I have an idea, one that really makes a lot of sence I think...

Anyway, here goes: Since we have a TOS Constitution class USS Defiant, and since I really think that Starfleet, or anyone for that matter (like the Klingon TOS D-7 that ends it's lineage with the K'T'Inga, Excelsior which ends it's lineage with the Lakota, etc.), we should find another name for this ship.
