MakeItSo=1 is not a CD key item.. it is a No CD check .. big difference.. It allows you to play the game without the CD in the drive.. CD keys are CRC checked in the client when trying to log into a server ... there is no way around it.
Best thing to do is buy a copy off of Amazon that has a unique CD key..
If someone else has the same CD key as you on a server, then you will not be able to log in to the D3 server.. It is a Piracy Protection.. Unique keys do not have this issue.. as such, you may want to check with the person you bought the game from.. or if you didn't buy it, then I would suggest that you look at Amazon and purchase a legit copy.
Other than that, if your Copy is Legit and the CD key is not allowing you access.. You can try contacting Activision.. they may still have the Keygen for SFC 3.. but if not, then you are stuck buying a copy .. Preferably unopened from Amazon..
