Hey, I have to start somewhere.. and these looked cool to start from. 

They looked like apporpriately "Borg-y" to drop onto the meshes and see how the mesh would look with a skin.

no no its not that, the first cube they look a bit warped and streched, the others i would have to see closer up but they dont look so bad, if you want i can send some more textures your way see if any others look better and such. its up to you

Going to a Christmas party tonight, but I'll send you a copy of the Cube that I've done when I have a chance in the next day or so and try out some textures.  I'll probably UVunwrap it and then start working off that map next.

dude if you can Remap the Stock SFC3 ships so i can get the textures nailed i will be your loyal sex slave for all of 29 seconds

That'd be extremely difficult to accomplish as:

a) you're the wrong gender
b) you're on the other side of the Great Pond and it'd take half a day to fly across it.
c) you'd just forget to call me in the morning.

Break mods are already completed... I usually do them up at the same time as I do the main mesh. 
Having 3dsMax r3 makes that pretty much a snap for me these days..
