Has anyone incorporated the I.S.S. Anubis File into S.F.C.III with the 534C Pat?
« on: November 27, 2008, 04:23:26 pm »

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to ask if anyone has incorporated the I.S.S. ANUBIS Patch File into S.F.C.III with the 534C patch added to it? I downloaded the patch file and the readme doc said it was safe to use with the 534B patch added to the original S.F.C.III game. However, the author didn't specifically say yes or no about the 534C patch. I didn't add the I.S.S. ANUBIS Patch File to my version of S.F.C.III, which has the 534C patch installed in it, for fear of causing the whole program to malfunction. I just want to know if anyone, of you, was braver than I and incorporated the I.S.S. ANUBIS program into S.F.C.III with the 534C patch installed, and what the results were, good or bad,. The I.S.S. ANUBIS Patch File can be downloaded at the S.F.C.III Files Website. Just so you'll understand what I'm refering to. Thank You, one and all, for your time! Joseph L. Rand(Joey)(Josephfairborn@aol.com)

The 534C is an unofficial patch and I am not sure what this ISS Anubis is so if you want the official DL the 534B which is supported.

Very few people even bother to use the 534C because it really doesn't do anything or give the game anything more than the 534B.  Meaning that whatever is in the 534C is just modding the 534B a bit.  No advantage.  As Age said, it's not an official patch.

I've never played around with the 534C, but from what I hear, any ships pre-speced for 534B can be used without any tweaking in 534C.

The worse thing that happens is that the ship shows up in the invalid shiplist text file in the game's root folder.
