*whistles*

Damn, that actualy looks like a late 70's early 80's studio shot for a movie poster...

Initially I thought TUS was pointing out that this is where mud got the ship design from...   But then i realised i was just not paying proper attention, was not aware starfleet command was able to handle transparencies as with your buzzards Mudd.

Ship looks great, but starfleet commands dated engine really does not do the ship justice. TUS awsome job on that poster, very nice work indeed.

I dunno ... have you SEEN any yet? LOL ...

How about something similar to the the K'teremny or D-10?

(That is the plan, though ... in due time.)

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now.

I have 4 more feds meshed in this style ... I'd like to add about four or five more to that ... Then, I plan to tweak a few unreleased Klingon meshes and work up a few Roms ... after that I think Kzinti and ISC are gonna be up ... not sure ... I also have a few Gorn plans.

I'd like to be able to get all of them done like ... right now ... but, RL time constraints do conflict with doing nothing but making these damn things ... If I actually got paid to do this, the Ol'Lady probably wouldn't complain so much ... lol.

So, we'll see ... eh?

I'm sure whatever you get to will be a welcome addition to the SFC series. We all know real life is more important Wink

(Oh ... and just a little extra info, KF ... that planet pack thing is on indefinite hold. The graphics engine at present will not do exactly what I want to do ... perhaps one day I'll revisit it with new ideas ... but for now, it's holding.)

That's too bad about the planets. I still hope they can be hard pointed for the next SFC OP 4.0+

How about the D6 shown in ENT??

If you run trough the scene you suddenly realise that although it looks like the classic TOS D6 battlecruiser, actually the engine nacelles are vastly different at the front.

The front Disrupter bulge has been replaced with a glowing electric blue intake slot top to bottom and the sides are also different.

Anyone have a still shot of the ENT D6 battlecruiser, where the engines are shown in detail. It happened when it made a starboard, turn on screen, for a camera close fly by.

If you're referring to the first episode to show a Klingon ship, Atra did one up at the time.  You might be able to find it somewhere.  However, that was not the model that the FX folks wanted to use.  They made a more primitive looking D5, but the corporate execs wanted more lights.  It was too late to spend a lot of time editing the model, so they used the stock K'tinga model with only a bit of tweaking.  The fellow who designed the first D5 explained the situation and posted images of the intended model.  It later made its way into a Ships of the Line calendar.  A couple of seasons later they used a very different model as the D5.  The official line from the production staff is that we should just ignore the ship that was shown, and mentally substitute either the intended model or the cannon D5.

Atra has an adaptation of the intended D5 on the back burner, though he calls it a D4, out of deference to SFB.  He has released a TOS refit.
