3. True Carriers must be escorted by at least one Escort ship. The third ship in the fleet can either be another escort or a line ship. Example: The Klingon K-D6U can be escorted by two K-AD5 ships or 1 K-AD5 and a K-D5W. Escorts cannot be larger-hulled than the carrier they are escorting: two F-NAC cannot escort an F-DWV.
Fine with limiting the carrier to having at least one escort - but shouldn't you have something along the lines of not being able to use an escort unless there is a CV?

Yes, I should. I'll update my MS Word doc.

What do you call a femal Klingon? A Klunt!
The shortest path between 2 points is a straight line . . .
Looks awesome! I'm getting seriously excited... please keep working towards this goal.
These ideas rock. I've always been ok with flying campaigns under whatever rules... just to fly the campaign... and I do understand not everyone likes the idea of OOB but I love the challenge of working with those assets instead of the proverbial cheese-out-by-certain-date waves of activity... this is something I've wanted to be involved in a long, long time.
See if you can get those other Canuck SFB players interested!

I'm already on it... brought out a hex map/counters while running around doing work stuff outside to pass the time. They eat it up The long used Risk and chess boards have been sitting in their boxes a while. Just need to get them to make the jump online.. this is actually going to be the difficult part, the guys aren't home much these days...

~Life cannot find reasons to sustain it, cannot be a source of decent mutual regard, unless each of us resolves to breathe such qualities into it. ~
...Worse case scenario I can make fictitious accounts based on the name of the ship and give the players the user name and password to sign in.
This is the best way to go. In this set up, the ships are the accounts, not the players. Players would have to have many accounts to cover all the battles when other players can't show up. You can change the password every time to make sure there are no mistakes that take the wrong ship out. The "player name" can be the ship's fleet designation.
If people REALLY want to geek out and actually name all the ships, the below makes an interesting read . . .
