New release of DirectX

Microsoft released a new version of DirectX on Aug 18

Here is the download to the full redistributable for the best possible way of installing

DirectX version are for both XP and Vista.. Vista is DirectX 9 and DirectX 10.. XP is DirectX 9 only.

Any time DirectX is released, until 2010, it will be for both XP and Vista.

Thanks for the clarification.  I wasn't sure if they were still updating 9.x or had ported 10.x to XP.
