Window Mode...
« on: June 24, 2009, 03:31:31 am »
Does SFC3 have a window mode?  If so, how do I use it?  I have a widescreen monitor these days, and I don't want to play SFC3 stretched.

I have not found away to play it in a window.

If you don't like it stretched you can change the scaling options of your graphics card settings so it doesn't yank it stupidly. So instead of it getting stretched you'll get black bars on the sides but it looks normal.

For Nvidia's cards right click on your desktop and select the nvidia control panel. Then on the left under display should say something like Change LCF/TFT scaling or something to that effect. You can hover over the different scaling options for a brief description and then just select what best suits you and click use and then confirm the choice from the pop-up.

To enable windowed mode, edit sfc.ini and set windowed=1 under the 3D section.
