a very large resolution telescope that sits on top of a hawai'i volcano has been successfully booted. this 1400 megapixel telescope "pan-starrs" is designed to photograph and find earthbound asteroids on an impact trajectory. this is quite a technological marvel. as you read the article you find how advanced and complicated this telescope really is!
