first up is a very exciting development in testing for future space craft design. NASA has successfully test fired the new "j-2x" rocket engine for an amazing 500 seconds of flawless performance. it appeared to be flawless anyway, they actual analysis of the test firing has not been released yet but the video shows what looks like a perfect burn! congrats to the team and wow, this is very exciting for the future of our space program!

in another NASA development that was released, they have developed what they are calling a "super black" carbon nanotube material that absorbs almost all light across multiple wavelengths! included wavelengths are ultraviolet, visible, infrared, and far-infrared! amazing!!! this material has applications mostly in the space field but there are bound to be any number of applications where this could work.
